About our school

MISSION STATEMENT

Tintinhull Public School is one where students, staff and parents/caregivers, together with the wider community, unite to learn and teach in a small, happy, comfortable world - aiming high - and embracing a broader world with confidence, curiosity and sensitivity.

The children should leave Tintinhull School with a sense of readiness and confidence for the next stage of their education and take with them a feeling of affection and pride for their Primary School.

Tintinhull Public School is a small school twelve kilometres north of Tamworth, set in a spacious, picturesque bushland setting. The school provides a student-centred education within a safe, caring and happy learning environment. The students are friendly and accepting of each other and understand the value of tolerance and fair play. The school provides the unique social and educational environment valued by the community. Our curriculum is designed to nurture and enhance the personal, social, creative and academic development of each student. We feature individual attention to pupils in a multi-age classroom. Positive community attitudes are fostered by providing many opportunities for meaningful interaction between parents, community, students, and staff with parents and community members encouraged to be directly involved in the education of the children through a variety of programs that capitalise on available skills, abilities, and interests.
