Local Excursions
At Tintinhull we believe that excursions are essential to the schooling experience. Throughout the year our students have the opportunity to attend a variety of excursions in our local area and community. These excursions are organised to support and extend students' learning in the classroom.
Some of our popular excursion destinations include Tamworth Capitol Theatre, Bunnings, Marsupial Park, Mini Trains, Airport, Calala Cottage, Farrer Agricultural Farm and visiting other small schools in our local area.
The Great Aussie Bush Camp Excursion takes place every second year in Term 3 and is offered to students in Years 3 and 4. Tintinhull travels by bus to the Tea Gardens on the central coast and spend three days and two nights participating in a variety of outdoor learning activities.
The Great Aussie Bush Camp is a great experience for all students and supports students to challenge themselves and try new things. The daytime activities include (but are not limited to) archery, flying fox, kayaking, bush craft, high ropes and fossil digging with a disco and county fair to entertain students during the night. This is a very popular excursion for our students and is enjoyed by all who are involved.
