At Tintinhull students are given many opportunities to showcase their sporting skills. We hold three sporting carnivals for all our students with two small schools carnivals for students 8 years old and up. Students who meet qualifying times, distances and heights at all carnivals can nominate to participate at PSSA Zone Carnivals. We encourage all our students to do their best and have fun. We believe good sportsmanship and a positive attitude is all you need to be a great competitor.
Cross Country
In Term 2 students have the opportunity to participate in our school cross country. At Tintinhull we are lucky enough to run our cross country race on our own oval and paddock. All students are encouraged to do their best to complete the cross country course. After the race all students are rewarded for their efforts with an icy pole. Ribbons are presented to those students who come 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each race with all other competitors receiving a' I ran in a race' ribbon or sticker.
We also run our Cross Country in correlation with our Addidas Fun Run Fund Raiser which helps raise money to buy new sporting equipment for our school.
