School events are an important part of your child’s learning and school experience. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Beetle Performance
Date: 26th August 2025
Time: 12.30pm
This is a whole school event. Students will be bused to the Capitol Theatre for this performance.

Thalgarrah Excursion - Years 1 and 2
Date: 28th August 2025
Time: All day
Stage 1 students will be bused to Thalgarrah Environmental education Centre. They will construct their own weather instrument to measure the wind in different places and read a book that looks at how one animal uses the different weather conditions around the world.

North West athletics carnival
Date: 3rd September 2025
Time: to be advised
Students who qualify for this event will be notified directly from the zone carnival.

JRFH 'Jump Off Day'
Date: 10th September 2025
Time: 9:30am
The Jump Rope for Heart program will end with our school wide ‘Jump Off Day’ on Wednesday 10th September where your child gets to show off their new skipping skills to their friends.

School Photo Day
Date: 18th September 2025
Time: 9:30am
Students are required to wear full winter uniform.

Book Fair
Date: 20th - 24th October 2025
Time: to be advised
Book Fair is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.

CAPERS
Date: 7th - 8th November 2025
Time: to be advised
CAPERS is an arena spectacular production held at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment Conference Centre (TRECC).
